My friend had the worst experience at the Ontarto store...First we were a bit early for her appt n still had to wait for the person who was to helping us...Secondly after the appt was over and getting ready to purchase the dress we were told it wasn't in her budget...How in the hell do you know what's in her pocket...She was told to come back for alterations and plus there would be a charge of 75.00 for alterations...Thank God no alterations was needed...They tell you one thing and then change the cost...Again had to wait...... read more
Not impressed at all with customer service provided to me when trying on a bridesmaids dress!
Bought 2 dresses online, made the 2hr drive to return them in store to find out you can't return them in store, so at that point made an appointment to be fitted 40 minutes later a lady comes over gives us a dressing room..i had stated I needed to be fitted so I could pick out a dress and she said well what size did you order I told her and she went and got a size up from that told me to put it on and show her, when I opened dressing room door she was nowhere to be found, I then put my clothes on and went to pick out my own ... read more
I am only going to scratch the surface of them issues I encountered with this review. I would go into complete detail, but I don't think anyone would want to read that much!... Although picking my dress was enjoyable and easy, the alterations of said dress completely ruined my experience. November 20th, I "said yes to the dress" and I had to wait until May 19 to see my dress and begin the alterations. I visited probably 3 weeks ago and had an AMAZING experience. I had a consultant named Melissa, short blonde girl, has such an amazing time with her. I am coming in again on the 17th of July with my mom and I am sad that I can't book an appointment with her again, I was told it could be possible for her to come in that day. I had an appointment today at 12:30 and was there on time, even a little early. I was given my dress and completely ignored for the rest of the time. I had to figure out how to zip my dress up, by myself, and decide which size was best for me. I even had to chase someone down to help me find a slip for my dress. I am very disappointed because the people who came in with no appointment trumped me and I wasn't important enough to be helped. My oldest is having a wedding in oct and my middle and youngest daughter were told that if they did not order the dress right away (within a week) that they would not receive their dresses until the day before the wedding so my daughters both took everything they had to get their dresses ordered . Well guess who got an email saying their dress was in and ready for pick up !! What scammers !!! Go to Ohio and NOT David's Bridal.
I went here tonight to try on wedding dresses and brides maid dresses for my wedding and this experence was worse then i could of ever imagined. First off i made an appointment for 6:30 for brides maids dresses and 7:30 for my wedding gown. When we walked in we were informed that out sales associate was running late but we could still go look at brides maid dresses and start pulling some.
