Went for my first and only wedding dress shopping this Sunday. Brought my mom, two soon-to-be sister-in-laws and my soon-to-be stepdaughter. To be honest, before going in, I was slightly terrified because this really isn't my thing. They allowed us to roam free for a bit as our stylist was finishing up with the girl before us. I made an appointment with a stylist (I think that's what they call them) to try on dresses. They'll work with what you're asking for, and will go dig through the racks for you to find dresses in your size and price range. I was also able to try on heels and hair decorations at the same time. It's kind of fun, they have big mirrors and a stage with chairs for bridesmaids or whoever to watch the bride model dresses. I had a budget of up to $300 for a dress, and was able to find an elegant one on sale for around $200. They do ... read more
Very helpful! So I actually bought my dress at a different David's Bridal, but they completely messed up the alterations, so I brought it this David's Bridal to get fixed. The ladies in alterations did a great job, and were very nice.
I didn't originally plan to get my dress from Davids Bridal, but after two days of back to back boutique dresses and then going into Davids Bridal it was such a relief to see prices that were within my budget. I tried on at least 10 dresses but I found the dress I wanted about 1/2 way through trying them all on. I LOVE my dress, it is so simple and elegant.
