I bought my wedding dress and had a fantastic experience, Stacy in Pinole was amazing. I took two of my bridesmaids back to buy dresses and it was a really bad experience. We are trying to be cost friendly because its a dress that will never get worn again and 2 of my bridesmaids are coming from out of town. Very dissatisfied with David's Bridal, and their very poor customer service. Their associates are commission sales driven, and only driven by that motive. About a month and a half ago, on the phone I specifically asked the sales rep to help my bridesmaid order her dress online. She ignored what I asked & did not do this. When my bridesmaid left the store, she told me the rep kept telling her to do it online herself. We bought my daughters dress in Sacramento and were told that it should cost no more than $250.00 for alterations.. The manager was standing there as that was said. They said we could go to any Davids Bridal. We figured we'll go to the one in Pinole. We went there yesterday and we're surprised by the charge for the alterations. It was almost $500.00. We paid $650.00 for the dress. We obviously complained and they took about $50.00 off. Needless to say corporate will get a letter. That's an outrageous charge.
There customers service was not good at all. No one asked if we needed help or even looked our way. Not a good experience.
The staff isn't the most tactful when it comes to the way they speak to their clientele period although I found my dress I felt little help or courtesy was given to me. Whatever happened to the customer's always right

We came for 2 bridesmaids.. and some help with my wedding dress. The seamstress for my dress was rude. The dress assistant was attentive until she got her second appointment.

The only business practice I find tiring and outdated is overbooking appointments. How are 6 women supposed to pick out gowns in 15 minutes? The place was insane busy and it felt like the people were doing their hardest to shove us out the door. However the lady assisting our bride was wonderful and took time with her. I feel bad for them that their company would force them to continue this practice of double and triple booking when it's terrible customer service for them to do so.
