I have been a patient of Doctor White, since he first started his practice. At that time he was working in a Doctor's Office which supported Duke Power's Maguire Station. I met Melissa Shafer for the first time yesterday, and felt immediately that I was in competent hands. I had a few questions about how best to proceed with some fairly routine care. Melissa took the time to give me understandable explanations. She laid out options and gave recommendations based on the latest research. I left my appointment feeling grateful that she is part of my health care team.
Sam Hughes is the best general practitioner I've ever met. He takes an entrepreneurial problem solving approach to medicine that I've never seen before, and, he quickly demonstrates that he is deeply interested in positive outcomes for his patients. He also works hard to ensure my time is not wasted, something I've never seen in medicine. This is the kind of guy that should own a practice, he'd model success around his personal vision of care, because he really really gets it. Maybe one day..
Back in January I contracted COVID. My long time family Dr told me to go to the ER if I couldn’t breathe. Davidson Family actually saw me in the office and treated me for COVID. I am changing my primary Dr to Davidson Family.
