We had an amazing stay at the Eagles Lair. The location was absolutely beautiful being in a wooded gulch next to a babbling creek outside of Lead and Deadwood. We were able to get out to all of the attractions by day and come back to a peaceful log cabin setting and enjoy the night by the fire. I would highly recommend this place to anyone interested.
The house is exactly as pictured. It is beautifully decorated and clean. Each of the surrounding cabins are unique. The Clubhouse is just across the street and an easy walk. It too is a beautiful space. Our kids enjoyed some time in the pool and hot tubs. We had my parents traveling with us so there were 4 adults, 3 teenagers, and a 7 year old. An excellent stay!
This place was nestled in the wooded neighborhood near terry peak ski resort. It was super peaceful and a quick drive to lead and deadwood. We spent our days exploring and relaxed every evening, the hot tub was great additional amenity after a long day of trail riding.
such a beautiful place. we spent 4 nights with our family of 5, they all loved it. Great views, great host, and the kids really loved the kitties! will definitely be back!

Great place to stay! We had a large group of people in town for a wedding and this worked out great. Beds were all comfy and kitchen was great to cook in. We had issues getting in upon entry but we were able to get in eventually and hosts were good about the issue. The driveway is extremely steep so keep that in mind, but it wasn’t an issue for us as we had 4WD. I love that the location is close to Lead and the Ski Lodge (venue for wedding).
Our stay was great- the cabin had everything we needed and enough room for us all!
