My family and I enjoyed our stay. The place was clean, in a great location, is quiet, private, and presents as described in photos. Deadwood Connections was very responsive. And left us a care package of cookies! The only thing I can find to complain about are the lack of blinds in the upstairs living room. There are a few hours in the evening where the sun blankets that room. However, with blinds you would miss out on the amazing sunsets and the unobstructed view of the hills. We would stay here again!

We couldn't say enough positive things about Eagles Lair. It felt like home away from home, in the beauty of the Black Hills. The kitchen had everything we needed (and more!) - with a starter coffee pack and cookies upon arrival. Sitting on the front decks in the mornings and evenings was a highlight - watching the deer and listening to the bubbling creek. The house is in a quiet area but still close enough to the tourist areas. It is quite dark when arriving at night which is relayed. I was a bit concerned about parking when we initially arrived but was adequate with a truck, trailer, and two side by sides. Access inside the house was easy. Upon entrance in the house, it seemed quite clean and tidy. It was later noticed that the house could use a bit more of a deep clean, mainly the bathrooms. Fantastic place to stay. We were visiting from Canada and it was a beautiful home away from home. Exactly as advertised and quick to respond when needed. Clean and tidy and the perfect place for our families with kids of all ages! Would consider staying here again!
