I took my 2003 Element in because it overheated. I was told by the service technician that my head gasket was blown and that I needed a whole new engine and radiator and radiator fans. The total they were going to charge me was $5k. Since the only symptom of a problem was that it overheated, I was skeptical and decided to get a second opinion. Thank God I did. Alfonso was a horrible salesman. He was rude and very condescending. He spoke to me as if I was an idiot , yet he had no clue what he was talking about. I have never seen such terrible customer service from a car dealership. Due to this experience, I will never buy another car from here again if they are going to hire people like Alfonso. I left there very upset because of his unfriendly manner and horrible attitude.
Delray Honda advertised a 2008 Honda CRV on AutoTrader.com for $13,500. I responded to the ad with the e-mail link from that ad. Peter from Internet sales called me back, said they had the car is stock and scheduled an appointment. I drove to Delray Beach and spent a long time going over the car and driving it. We agree on one thing, when confirmation came it was another! When I questioned it, I was told that I misunderstood!!! When I mentioned to review the vedio which I had to sign for, I was told it had been erased...When I asked to speak with the GM, Mike Margus, He was not available. whats the sense i wrote a complaint 2 weeks ago and havent heard a thing paid $51.00 for an oil change after coupon said $9.95 was told i had synthetic oil but would get special price because coupon said it would be slightly higher. $995 t0 $51.00 slightly higher hmmm
I was in great lengths and negotiations with this dealership. The price continued to change and when I actually called to purchase the vehicle, they told me they had other plans for the vehicle. I asked them if they sold it, since I was just there 6 hours before, and the salesman said, "No, but they have other plans for the truck." I would NOT recommend this dealership. My salesman was a sweet and sincere guy named Charlie. If you must go to Delray Honda, I would seek him out. But he was new, saying he'd only been there 4.5 months, and he wasn't even empowered to decide on my offer. I test-drove a used Jetta that was in very good condition for an 8-year-old car.
