Very attentive and caring office. Hygienist worked very hard and called to check on me.

Well I came there to see if there was anything more they can do about my deep pocket on one of my teeth. First of all, I had to wait 20 minutes past my appointment before the dentist even came in. Prior to that I did have an x-ray but still I had to wait 20 minutes. He did give him two options. Either pull the tooth in get an implant or wait and see what happens. I visited with Dr Tarasuk for over 40 years. He would check my mouth every 12-18 to see how I was doing. Yesterday. I walk in for appointment and my dental Hygenist asks me if Dr Barasz could examine my mouth at some point during my cleaning. I assumed that Dr Barasz had some of the same good qualities that Dr Tarasuk had. I was wrong!! He did come in and take a quick look. This new practice in Waterbury is the worst big business I ever saw. When they took over the previous staff quit or were let go. Now they're requesting payment upfront, even tor cleanings which are covered in insurance plans. And they don't participate in any dental plan. They're all about getting the most money from you.
Absolutely horrible!! Doctor was rude no compassion. She didn’t know how to use the equipment and told me my pain that I am feeling is in my head!!!! Also I need to change my life styles and that will help my EXPOSED nerve! Told other co workers computer is above her pay range! Will never be back and going to get another opinion I have an exposed nerve problem that changing my life style will not fix and my pain I’m in is NOT in my head! Doctor there is crazy and unprofessional
