Derek was great in helping me through the process. Very patient and responsive. Communicated every step of the way. However , the service from Jose Espinoza, was less to be desired. We were going to go somewhere else, but Derek definitely was the reason we stayed.

Three things... Responsiveness - Derek and Adriana responded to quickly to every request including my initial inquiry. Pricing - the rate came in a little higher to start and then Derek was able to get the pricing I was seeking. Knowledge/experience - as a banker who used to run a consumer and jumbo mortgage operation, I know the processes and hoops that have to be jumped through. I didn't feel any of it was painful and Derek did everything to minimize inconvenience.

Refied last year, kinda terrible. This time was super smooth. Felt good, and my questions were quickly answered. Didn’t feel like I was left in the dark. Just an overall better experience.
