Our 7th home buying experience, but our first with the mortgage firm and Derick. By far, the best mortgage/lender experience. Clear communication. Options were presented and we navigated those decisions as a team. Fastest closing experience - all funds and forms had been wired/transferred and signed days before, respectively. The mortgage firm also knows how to work with student loans. Other mortgage companies struggle with student loans and understanding IDR, forbearance, etc.
