I have lived in Dexter Park for over 10 years and I almost never asked for anything to Maintenance, but when I do. They come almost immediately to take care of whatever I need. My last request was to change the blinds that I had since I moved here and the maintenance person came right away, took the ones were old and dirty and place new ones in no time. Thank you to the amazing maintenance team and all staff at Dexter Park and the Hamilton Company!!! Our oven got completely ruined after a small gas fire in the kitchen and the team immediately came and took care of literally everything. We had a new oven working the next day. They even took care of painting the kitchen walls and vacuumed the vents. Seriously so thankful for everyone who has helped us. In general though, the maintenance team always responds super fast to any requests, and they are very nice!
I’m giving Dexter Park 2 stars, mainly for its convenient location near BU and the great staff members, like Ben and Kris, who were always helpful and professional. Believe it or not, they were the reasons why I stayed for 3 years. However, my experience during the final months of my lease was far from satisfactory. After deciding not to renew my lease in January, I fully understood, based on the lease agreement, that Dexter Park would begin showing my apartment to potential tenants starting in April. I have resided in Hamilton Company owned apartments for over a decade and my experience has been very positive and wonderful.
I want to give a 0 start if possible. Saving one star just for the location and always timely response from management for maintenance request. If you live on the side facing east, good luck..that's the loading area and will be loud 247. Noise: 1. Maintenance team is there throughout the day and they play loud music, chat , yell, construct without any notice from the management. Sometimes even drilling... 2.
