I got all my questions answered in addition to changing from a 3 month to 6 month certificate. My bigger question is why dfcu f run all these promotions for credit card holders only. What about the people that don’t have a dfcu f credit card. Let’s make it equal for all. Come up with some program that all share holders w/o dfcu f CC enjoy same benefits.

Very disappointed in your cash back dividend, which was announced today. DFCU never provided any advance notice that CDs would not count towards the cashback and it was being reduced from a half a percent to a quarter of a percent. Poor communication. While I have a quarter of $1 million in CDs, the only reason they’re there at DFCU because of the special dividend rates plus the cashback….without cashback I’ll probably move to another institution. Hi Dennis, We apologize for the disappointment you've experienced with the changes to our Cash Back program. We did announce these changes last January through letters to our membership. Any CDs (IRA and regular) opened before 12/30/23 were eligible. However, if they were opened 1/2/24 or later, they were not eligible. These changes to Cash Back were due to the rising-rate environment and the fact that we offered competitive products with higher rates than the market has seen in many years.
