On 6/17/2021, Dr. Pateder recommended me to perform surgery on both of my L3-L4 and L4-L5 spine in order to fix the numbness on my legs as soon as possible. However, my chiropractor Dr. Edward S. Baek has reminded me that I should always look for second opinion. Hence, I found Dr. Fred Mo and he said that I only need surgery on my L4-L5 spine. He is outstanding and professional spine surgeon. Dr. Pateder destroyed my back with 2 surgeries on April 27th and 28th, 2020. I was in such pain for months afterwards and he said it was normal. I ended up going to see Dr Fred Mo at MedStar Georgetown on Dec 2020 and he totally redid everything on Dec 21st, total spine fusion and laminectomy as well. I feel great and pain free. Dr Mo took out everything to include 2 loose screws and put in all new parts the correct way.
He did surgery on my lumbar spine with poor results. I ended up having to have surgery again
I have had back pain for yrs (fell on my tailbone) went to see him which was recommended by a distance friend. He walked into the examine room, never touched me. His statement, I can’t help you. He made his determination on my MRI, which we all know doesn’t show everything. Walked out very disappointed.
Destroyed my nerves completely and left me with permanent nerve damage. He did not get mine right. This is to inform you of what can go wrong with Dr. Pateder. You cannot fix what he done to me and I would find someone else to see. Terrible results , terrible surgeon.
Worst Dr. I ever met
The visit was waste of time. The doctor did not perform evaluation which is unacceptable. All he knew is from his assistance who questioned me before that. I was really dissappointed visiting this doctor. I felt like he was not interested what my issue/pain is.
A very money oriented Doctor, not interested n the interest of patient but his income.
