A couple things of note: I wasn't notified my rate had been locked until I asked. It looked like rates had dipped slightly when I reached out, but unbeknownst to me I had already been locked in 3 days prior. Also the closing took 3 hours due to some miscommunication between the title company and closing/funding department. Overall it was easy on my side and did not feel like I had to jump through a bunch of hoops.
