This meets all of the expectations of what Southlake senior living would be. This statement will mean something positive to some and will mean something completely different to others. I didn't even take mom for a tour. I can't imagine anyone wanting to eat all of their meals at the Petroleum Club. My mother decided to stay in her home.
It was really nice and everyone was sweet and kind and it was a great place for my mom. It is very homey and an unbelievably great place.
The staff are great, they are bending over backwards to make her stay as enjoyable as possible, and the cleanliness is amazing. The food is as good, probably better than where we were before. Their prices are on the high end for around here, but the services for the cost are within reason. Let me first say, I was a little concerned about my mom moving to a smaller assisted living. BOY was I wrong, she is absolutely spoiled. My mom has never felt so pampered and loved. The care and attention she needs is first class. I just can't get over how well the staff takes such good care of her. Oh and the food..... AMAZING! I have been to several places while I was out looking and the food does not compare.
It's really expensive, but if we could afford it she would still be there. The staff was great, and the people were great. They had a good variety of activities. The only thing I can say about the food is that the menu choices were a little bland. They did give options here and there. Overall the food was good, I just like a little more spice.
