We've seen a bunch of reviews about Ditch so we had to try it. We had made a reservation for 7, and were seated right away. Our server was friendly and took our drink order first. My wife had the Cool as a Cucumber and she loved it. I had a bourbon and it was as expected. We ordered a couple of appetizers to start. The Crispy Calamari was cooked well (not gummy) and flavorful, while the sweet chili sauce that accompanied it had a good balance of sweet and heat. Well. They are new, so not everything is fully in place. No iced tea, no wine selection. Short menu. It’s very pretty - driftwood gray/ocean blue decor. I do wonder about the partition between the dining area and the bar being replaced with a long hi-top table with metal chairs. There were only a few other customers there during our visit, but I imagine this room will have a high noise level if fairly full. Our waitress was great and the service was prompt.
