The technician ,Ben, did an excellent job. our heat pump wasn't working properly. We didn't have to wait long after we placed the call. Ben was personable and got heat to us in a short period of time during this cold weather.
Dont use them. The worse service . Three days later with no heat and them even unhooking my thermostats I still had not gotten them to get the parts- that were not even needed. It ended up being a loose wire. Yerrible
Absolutely do not use this company. We called them on Monday to fix our broken AC unit. They eventually came a day later and we thought they solved the problem. However 1 day later the AC is broken again. When we called and had them come out again it turns out they knowingly installed the wrong motor on our unit and said "it would break in about a year" it didn't even last 2 days. We were lied to by multiple members of the team being sent down multiple rabbit holes trying to get answers. We still have none and nothing fixed ... read more
TOP NOTCH Company for ALL your HVAC issues !! The staff , technicians , and management are the BEST choice for all your needs !! They will smoke every other competitor in Wilmington NC and the surrounding area !! My issue was fixed on site the 1st visit unlike most other companies that never have a simple part on their truck . Some good ole country boys with expert knowledge !! I know who I will call if I have an issue again !!!!
After numerous calls, hours waiting, and at least four visits, the three technicians (one made two visits) were still unable to diagnose the short cycling. As it turned out, it was a leak, which they kinda suspected. In a single visit by Taylor's Heating and Air, they were able to diagnose the leak and remove and replace the refrigerant filter dryer, which showed signs of corrosion. I have been using them for 15 years. Always reliable, professional and honest. Their technician Ben is great. He showed up today wearing a mask, keeping us all safe through this difficult time of COVID-19. I would recommend Dixon HVAC to everyone in the Wilmington area.
They're horrible. My builder used them to install our HVAC system. Should have known something was off when the builder made the comment that, you can't find good contractors anymore. Then we had issues with the HVAC unit within the first year and every year after. We called Dixon's and they took a part off another unit on a house being built down the street to try and fix ours.
