Took my cat there in the middle of the night because he was clearly in pain for some reason. The staff was incredibly friendly and took their time explaining to me what the possibilities could be. No one wants to have to go to the emergency vet, but if you have to, go here. They were wonderful.
This is the worst place I have brought my pet. The staff is disrespectful. There is a lady that acts like a pitbull who got on my face and screamed like a lunatic because I asked how much longer it would be (after 2 hours of waiting). Her behavior sems more fit of a penitenciary than a business. Yeap, that no class. We are still waiting but we will never come back. I prefer not to deal with people that behave like they are dealing with low life thugs rather than paying customers.
I was here a few weeks with my dog Brandy. Dr. DiVanna and techs were so nice in helping us to make a very hard decision. They gave us plenty of time to spend with Brandy before she transitioned and also gave us time after her transition to say our final goodbye. Thank you for making a hard day a little easier...And thank you for following up with a sympathy card with personalized messages that you mailed to us. It was very touching.
I have mixed feelings about this practice. I have seen some very good veterinary care from its doctors and staff and some not-so-good care. My little terrier, Dewey, received very adequate care from Dr. Simmerson for his polyarthritis, thanks to which he's been able to maintain a good quality of life for a long time. I do believe, however, that Dr. Simmerson's bedside manner and people skills could use some improvement. This place is awesome and the people are awesome too
So far, I have a real good feeling about these folks. My little Hildiekatt is under their care right now. I liked that the vet laid out a number of alternative treatments with costs, and presented no false hope of a good outcome. The diagnosis is treatable intestinal lymphoma and "fatty Liver." Even if it does turn out to be a Final Visit, I think they are trying their best for Hildie.
