We tried to wait to see our regular vet but our 21 year old cat took a sudden turn for the worse and had to be be euthanized. We called and they said to bring him right in. We were seen immediately and the entire process was explained in detail. The staff was efficient but very compassionate. They made a very bad situation tolerable and we will always be grateful to them for that.

We brought our cat here after another facility recommended DCES for more specialized treatment. They were waiting for us when we arrived and whisked our pet back to address his critical condition. Throughout the process, the very friendly staff kept us informed of what was going on. We would gladly bring any of our other pets to DCES in the event we need such services again.

Very welcoming and when I arrived at the time of my appointment, they waited on me immediately. I also enjoyed the thorough explanation from the vet and she was very comforting and answered any and all questions. I won't go anywhere else now.

This is a great emergency vet hospital if you have an urgent issue with your pet. They also offer specialized vet care like ophthalmology and oncology. The staff and vets are top notch.

My cat needed urgent care. She was able to be seen within an hour of my call and was in surgery shortly after. Dr. Maul was compassionate and caring, taking time to listen carefully to our situation. She went above and beyond to give my cat the best care and also took time to explain everything as well as answer all of my questions. Bowie is fortunate to have this service here for our pets. This place was great for what it's intended purposes- My dog was having a stroke (or so we thought) and they were available to see her right away- and I was extremely grateful for it- they rushed her to the back (called a stat) young lady (will call her triage nurse) before I can get my thoughts together, came and was like- it's going to be 800.00!!!!
