The service was quick and efficient Donna was pleasant and accurate. I've heard complaints regarding the food pricing. The burger is now thicker patties which is not bad a little more greasy then the big boy that this area is used to. The sandwich comes with fries which is a plus. The food is not bad depending on what you get. Anywhere you go pricing will be increased and for the size of the burger I think it is fair. The restaurant ambiance is peaceful and nicely put together.
Everything too expensive for what you get. I think people expect it to be like Frisches but it doesn't compare and shouldn't be expected to
Nice ckean. Great food. How Frischs use to be years ago. Freshly cooked food. Nice employees!!
This review is for those who are looking at potentially going despite the low reviews of Dolly's: First let's get to the good part. The food was decent and tasted well. I won't lie it was no Michelin star restaurant obviously but it was enjoyable. The onion rings were crispy and the 'signature' burger tasted just like our once familiar big boy. The fries were 'typical' restaurant fries. I very much enjoyed the fried pickles as they were fried delightfully. Now unfortunately for the bad. The service was definitely lacking ... read more
Finally got over there to give it a try, and it was ok. Frisch's with a different name it is not. Our waitress was nice and did a good job. I got the super signature, which I thought was going to be the equivalent of a super big boy, but it's not. Instead of thicker patties, they just put two on, so it's 4 burger patties. It's too thick and you can't really bite it. It's also a mess because of how big and unwieldy it is. The taste is excellent, but nothing like a big boy. The fries were very soggy and not good. To be honest, I'd have given Frisch's the same rating... I will say the Signature (Big Boy) was tastier and had thicker, beefier patties than Frisch's. The fries were pretty good and the service was great.
Went through the drive-through. The signature burger was good, tasted pretty much like a Big Boy! Coleslaw was ok, but it needed to be a little more creamy. Fries were soggy and underdone. Onion rings were very crispy, but didn't have much flavor. The worst thing was the Best Cheeseburger on the Planet, which was far from. The burger was burnt up to a crisp, and the meat tasted low-quality. They've only been open a week, so we'll give them some time to work through the problems!
Got cussed out by the dishwasher tonight, food took 40 minutes to come out and when it did it was cold and looked like it was sitting out for 30 minutes. Our server was a young blond girl, she was great and accommodating. The problem was definitely back of house.
Had breakfast bar , it was disgusting, I wont be back! Waitress was awesome. Michigan food for Cincinnati doesnt make sense it was gross.
