We enjoyed Doppio Zero but aren't sure if we'd go back. Food was just okay (although the fried calzone was a highlight). We also thought that while the waiter was attentive the service was a little off. My wife and I wanted to share a pizza and while the waiter was aware of this, did not bring us extra plates (or the bread we requested). I also didn't care for the way the bill is handled. Love this place! First time coming in with my bestfriend and they immediately attended to us. I initially requested a booth seat because I wanted something more comfortable because I’m pregnant. They told us that there were no more booths available but seated us right away. Micheal helped us and was very informative about everything. I ordered the homemade pasta with truffle sauce and it was so good and they even comped our sorbet ice cream. I recommend this place and will be looking forward to coming back with my family!
The hostess that greeted us was not particularly friendly, wearing cut off shorts and tennis shoes, really was surprised of the dress code for a hostess. The staff all were all working hard in black pants and long shirts. The staff was very friendly to us and checked on us numerous times.
