I'm a female patient in my mid-20s. I had trouble breathing. It took 9 years to diagnose: my nostrils had become too narrow. It took me another 3 years to find Dr. Gantous. After 12 years of doctors, he was the only one who was optimistic about my surgery and he was very candid with me about the procedure. The surgery was an absolute, stunning success. I can breathe freely for the first time in my adult life and my nose was unchanged. I can't thank you enough Dr. Gantous. You are a wonderful doctor.
It took me 12 years to find a doctor to correctly diagnose the problem with my nose and who I felt confident in to do the corrective surgery I needed. Dr. Gantous is wonderful. The procedure was completely fulfilling. My experience with Dr Gantous was rewarding and he explained the procedure in lay man's language so I understood what to expect, pleasant or otherwise.He did not exceed more than was necessary thereby keeping the cost reasonable. Old scar is removed and a more precise cut is made by the surgeon and then closed with dissolveable sutures. This is the mainstay of scar revision. The scar is excised and the wound is closed carefully to achieve a nicer and finer scar. Many different techniques are used to achieve this and the movement of the surrounding tissue is sometimes needed. The goal is to place the scar in a favourable position in order to make less conspicuous.
I've been seeing DR. Gantous for a few years now. I've had derma fillers for cheek implants and to reduce my marionette lines. I always feel refreshed and younger after I leave his office. He has a really sharp eye for detail and a very steady hand. He does the work himself. I really trust this doctor with my face. He is not out to change it; only to enhance what I feel needs improvement.
