Dr. Katzen was so nice and considerate, I wish my foot still hurt so I could go back!
The staff was very helpful in setting a convenient appointment for the initial consultation. Dr. Katzen was on time and took his time to thoroughly explain the options in a way that I understood such that I was able to make an informed decision. The surgery was scheduled and performed as planned. Recovery was amazing! Thanks to the block that was suggested by Dr. Katzen there was no pain after the anesthesia wore off. I recommend Dr. Katzen and his team without reservation. Top notch!
Dr. Katzen performed two sets of procedures on my feet. I chose Dr. Katzen because I had first hand knowledge of the quality of his practice and his integrity. Particularly attractive to me was that Dr. Katzen is skilled in minimally invasive surgery, which decreases post-operative pain and healing time. Not all surgeons are equal. If you have foot pain, please do not put off having it addressed. I'm so happy I trusted Dr. Katzen to work on my feet. I also recommend having a nerve block.
Dr Katzen is an excellent Podiatrist and has always been very friendly and polite during my visits. His minimally invasive surgical technique is far better than having your foot opened up to correct a defect. Less trauma equals less pain and a faster recovery> The only way to go! Everyone there was professional and accommodating. A+++
Excellent podiatrist, way better than the jerk up in Silver Spring that wanted to do many, many, procedures that Dr Katzen took care of with one visit. He looked after me and my wallet not his own (like the guy in Silver Spring wanted to).
