Dr Salloum, in addition to being incredibly handsome, was very patient and thourough explaining the results of the MRI of my left shoulder, we decided to do a cortisone shot directly in my shoulder joint. And he was sneaky, bc he told me he was going to spray the skin over the injection site with a numbing agent, and it was very cold, and while I was focused on how cold that spray was, he jabbed the needle in, and I didn't even notice. Bienville is hands down the best orthopedic office on the Coast. Dr Salloum takes the time to listen to your concerns and problems, addresses them with X-rays, a physical exam, and if necessary MRI’s. He discusses the findings and provides expert knowledge of what steps would be the best outcome. His surgery is also top-notch! Wouldn’t go anywhere else!!
First time ever having to see an Ortho doctor and Dr. Salloum was amazing! Very attentive and concerned. All the staff were extremely nice as well.
I had knee replacement surgery yesterday. I was pleased that I did not have to wait too long, everything ran on schedule as promised. I was very pleased with the courtesy and kindness of the staff. Everyone was pleasant, and did everything they could to make me comfortable and keep me informed. They also did a good job of providing information prior to my surgery and set realistic goals for the entire process. Overall I am extremely pleased with everything to this point, as I start to recover.
I was seen within fifteen minutes of my arrival for my appointment. The doctor was very kind and sensitive to my issues. He explained the results of the MRI I had had then, after physically examining my shoulder, discussed a plan of treatment I would need and suggested a referral that would remedy my condition. He made me feel very comfortable, and I trusted that he would help me as much as he could. Several years ago, he operated on my left shoulder, and I have complete faith in his capabilities and concern.
