My little girl had teeth extractions done here at 10:45 this morning. I also asked for a nail trimming. LOOK AT WHAT THEY DID TO HER!!!! They cut into the nerve of 4 different nails and into her paw!!! I'm crying so hard rn. They have appointments stacked back to back! She wasn't finished until 4:45, meaning she sat in a cage for hours! It took them 6 hours and they had the nerve to rush clipping this tiny dogs nails! How can you guys do something like this?? I'm beyond disappointed and disgusted with this facility on Bell Road! My experience with Dr. Tressa MacLennan was appalling. The lack of communication (impossible to reach anyone; especially in an emergency situation), the lack of professionalism and care is staggering. Dr Tressa's behavior was inexcusable! Telling a pet owner that their pet was going to die anyway is unacceptable!!! Take some responsibility and make changes! I opted not to trust these people with my dog after an initial consultation. I visited the Bell Road location in North Phoenix. First of all, the office is completely blocked off from the back, so that you cannot see what is going on. Only one guy came out front to look at my dog. When he returned with my 5-year-old Jack Russell with an estimate for $950 I was told that my dog might need extractions, and that if I didn't agree to the extractions (plural) I should take my dog elsewhere. hours ago New You might say I was disappointed. When you take your pet to dr Kelly you don't get to see Dr Kelly. The staff takes your pet to the back they do the exam with out you present. Then the staff comes out & tells about your pet exam in front of everyone in the lobby. Staff is ok but no real customer service with dr Kelly. Thats the first appointment then when you return for the surgery @ $1200.00 same thing no personal contact with you. Absolutely would never recommend them! They performed 2 surgeries on my dog. 1st surgery didn't correct the issue then a 2nd surgery a week later. Less than 24 hours later my dog went septic due to their procedure. The animal hospital told me Dr Kelli is not skilled in this level of surgery and should have never performed this surgery. I called Dr Kelli's office the night I put my dog down and the next day the scheduler told me I would hear from someone. I used to use Dr. Kelly's regularly for my dogs' dental cleanings when they used mobile units. Their prices were low and the care was relatively good. Since they moved into this permanent office prices have dramatically increased and care has dramatically declined. Over two weeks ago they wanted to have a $100 deposit before a free estimate appointment was even done. I went to their mobile clinic 3 yrs ago. It was reasonable and thankful for that dental work on my dog. Now that it's brick & mortar buildings only, as I had to text and phone for appt I was set with an estimate more than twice the price I paid 3 yrs ago. Plus - they gave me a HUGE spread of $ and i set the appointment for surgery because I was reassured that at the "examination" time approx 1 week before they can give me a closer more correct estimate of $ charges.
