It's been over a year that I've been struggling with my sciatica and I could honestly say my life was ruined, in and out of chiropractor clinics that just didn't seem to do things right or at least feel right, what a rollercoaster ride! Rebalance on the other hand well let's just say me finding rebalance felt like Christmas morning knowing you got what you wanted in that present you've been waiting days to open. Dr ken Nakamura has demonstrated to me that he is a man of integrity and loves to do what he does. The care and un... read more

Dr. Ken Nakamura is a really great Chiropractor. He is very knowledge and highly experienced with what he is doing, he was able to identify and treat my back problem successfully. I had visited many Chiropractors before and none were able to treat and fix my back problem. I would strongly recommend him to all.

Business response:

Thanks for your review S. I 'm just happy you got better. I will keep trying to be the best chiropractor that I can be so that you and all my patients get better as fast as possible.

I had lower back pain(a sacral bone of left side) since January for six month. It was hard to walk, because so pain when I walk. Also I can not keep sitting the chair even for one hour. I went to the family doctor, three different acupuncturists and a physiotherapist. However, nobody helped me well. I searched someone online who is writing about sacral region in Toronto. Then I found the article by Dr. Ken Nakamura. He knew what my problem is exactly when I met him at the first consulting. He said that my pain would be gone ... read more

Business response:

Thanks for your review I. It seems that a lot of people are getting better in a short period of time. I don't keep stats so I don't know the average time for a patient to get better but I am glad that you did so well.

I am currently under the care of Dr. Nakamura. Dr. Nakamura never leaves me unattended in any session and always endeavours to find the best solution to my back problem. Throughout the treatment, he is receptive to my instant feedback and tailors the treatment in a timely manner. After 6 sessions, my long term back and neck pain was gone. I am able to move my neck easily side to side with a better range now. The instructions he provided for the exercise are easy to follow. The simple effective exercise can be conveniently do... read more

I have to say I'm very happy with the care and instruction Dr. Nakamura has provided to me over the course of my treatment. I had been experiencing chronic leg pain when sitting and had visited other chiropractors and physios who only focussed on my symptoms. After Dr. Nakamura initial physical assessment he provided a clear diagnosis of a herniated disc. Finally we knew what we were dealing with and what needed to be done to aid my recovery. With a lot of hard work I'm now well on my way to a full recovery. I found he took ... read more

Thanks for your review A. In your case it took a few months to get you better which is not the usual time frame but you had persistent chronic pain. We went through 3 plateaus but I was able to get you through that last plateau to finally get you to 100%. Not everyone will get better quickly but with persistence it can be done in the vast majority of cases. If you didn't get there ard continued to get stuck I would have referred you. Glad you are better now.

I don't really have much to say other than Dr. Nakamura is an excellent chiropractor! He really helped me with my back pain and shoulder pain which also helped relieved my TMJ pain. I've only visited a few times and there's a huge improvement with my back and neck just from my first visit. Although this is the first time I ever visited a chiropractor, I do think that Dr. Ken is very knowledgeable and helpful. He gave me easy exercises and advice to maintain the benefits of my visits. He also specifically explained what is ha... read more

Business response:

Thanks for your review B. Yes TMJ is related to your neck. Most times the upper neck tightens or locks and gives you headaches from TMJ problems but it can be the other way around too. That's why treating the neck can help TMJ. Even your lower back especially the sacrum is related to the TMJ. Just happy you are better.

My joint pain is a combination of medical issues and bad habits on my part. Not only did Dr Ken address the pain but he gave me easy to follow excercises, and behaviour change guide to sustain the benefits of the therapy that he did on my lower back, knee, spine & shoulder.

Business response:

Thanks for your review P. You had an uncommon type of back pain but despite this we were able to get your back better in a short period of time. For your knee and shoulder one exercise that you just continued on with at home was all you needed to get better. Someone people will need much more extensive work on their shoulder and knee. This allowed you to save you from doing numerous treatments for your shoulder and knee just by doing your exercise homework.

Dr. Ken is a wizard in his practice. I have had a few sessions with him to fix my chronic neck pain. In every session he would either remove or reduce the pain significantly. for me the magic really happens when the pain disappears from one part of the body while he works on a completely different part. I would highly recommend him to anyone with chronic back or neck pain.

Business response:

Thanks for your review R. I appreciate the time you took to do this. I think the thought is what counts the most. It looks like some parts are the same as another review but what can I say. You are really busy.

Dr. Ken has been treating my TMJ-related problems for a few weeks now and I can honestly say I feel so much better. After each 20 minute session I walk away feeling less stiff and sore. In a short period of time my range of motion has drastically improved. I have never been to a chiropractor before, but I was seeing a physiotherapist for 6 weeks and never experienced anything close to the positive results I have had with Dr. Ken (so far). I would absolutely recomend him to my family, friends or anyone else suffering from sim... read more

Business response:

Thanks for your review T. I treat a lot of people with TMJ problems. Most of them related to stress, bruxing (grinding your teeth) and dental work in which you have to open your mouth to the max for extended periods of time. Glad you are better and get that pain behind you.
