Was very friendly in the clinic visit. Easy to talk to. Explained everything perfectly. Scheduled my surgery for a Saturday even though he was not on call. Took care of me and my husband with great skill and fantastic outcome. Despite all the bad comments from others, I particularly have had very good experiences with Dr. Patel I had three surgeries that he attended the first an emergency diverticulitis doing a colostomy, then he removed the colostomy and the last removed my gallbladder and I did not have any problem or complication during or after the surgery that for me is the most important thing, from his staff both in his office and helpers I have no complaint therefore for me he is an excellent surgeon and I do not have a problem in recommen... read more
Good experience overall. Prompt. Knowledgeable. Professional. No BS. Needed emergency surgery. He showed up, told me what was wrong and what needed to be done, and took care of the problem so I could get Home same day. Hospital staff seemed to like him a lot as well. I had a large cancer in my colon. Obviously I felt my life was going to end. My PCP referred me to Dr Patel. I have to admit I couldn’t have asked for a better surgeon. He was extremely friendly, took the time to answer all my questions, even drew diagrams to show me exactly what he would be doing. I am a long time surgery patient. I have had 11 previous hernia surgeries. Different surgeons in town and every repair fail. I even have infection. Saw dr Patel in office. He told me surgery would be very hard because of last 11 surgeries. I couldn't help but cry because so many doctors turn me down to fix the hernia I have because it so big.
