I am post surgical 2 months out and could be happier with my neck fusion. Dr George is a wonderful surgeon. I am grateful for his help.
Dr. George performed a difficult spinal fusion on me 6 weeks ago. The surgery has relieved my nerve pain. I am able to walk normally again and climb stairs. Dr. George took whatever time needed to make sure I understood my condition and options. He is not only an excellent surgeon, but pleasant to speak with and accessible if needed. Shout out to Fran in his office too. She is wonderful!

After my first two visits with Dr. George, I feel he is well-versed in his field of expertise and I would be confident to choose him as my surgeon.
Dr George performed an ACDF on me in September 2020. The surgery was a success! It alleviated the pain, tingling and numbness down my arms, and soreness in my neck. He is a pleasant Doctor, experienced and thorough.
Very knowledgeable and professional, thinks "outside the box". Answers all questions and concerns and orders more tests when needed. Very Friendly, Caring Staff
I saw Dr. George at NSPC, (recommended by my GP), in West Islip. He read the MRI's of my back with the accompanying reports that said severe spinal stenosis at L3, L4 and L5. I also had right foot slap/drop and right leg weakness. The back pain felt like constant sciatica, it did not abate with any OTC medications. It’s been 2 weeks since I had a spinal fusion & laminectomy . I’m feeling amazing . Only slight discomfort but I feel so much relief only 2 weeks later .recovery is going so smooth . I pushed this surgery off for a year & im so happy I pulled the trigger . Of course the 1st week will be rough but the staff at st Catherine hospital was so great and all the Neuro PA’s were attentive and checked on me every day . Zach set the bar for excellence in medical service in the midst of a very challenging time for me. I had been dealing with a severely herniated disc for nearly two years and had such excruciating pain that I could not sleep through the night on most nights.
