Dr. was very kind and patient. He explained everything clearly and was to the point. Loved that about him. He could answer any questions that were asked and explained them in terms that could be understood!
He was an awesome dr. My daughter had a broken collarbone and we had been seeing a different dr and it just wasn't healing right. Went to see him and she had surgery. In a month she was healed and back to her regular activity.
Knee surgery and total hip replacement
I was told my rotator cuff repair would be arthroscopic with four small incisions, but I woke up with a 3-inch scar and no explanation. The anesthesiologist was rude, and recovery felt rushed and unprofessional—my sling wasn’t even adjusted properly before being discharged. Very disappointing experience
I have never been treated this bad by any other medical staff in my life. I was told I needed cuff surgery. Didn’t hear a word from the staff until I called several without any reply for weeks. Finely I was told I would be scheduled for surgery the 12ty of July and wold be notified by the clinic before that day with instructions. Dr Uhland has done three mostly successful surgeries on me over 8 years (2 knees and a shoulder). Surgeries went pretty well, but lately the office staff has been TERRIBLE about calling back/following up. I saw the PA a month ago and surgery was scheduled for a month later at a facility where my insurance doesn't cover. Rescheduling at another facility is apparently not something that the staff is capable of doing. I have made several calls and have yet to receive a reply.
I had done something to my right shoulder and arm was told I had shattered my arm. But beacuase I could lift it above my head he wouldn't do the surgery after 5 months of waiting. I ended up going to another surgeon come to find out that all I had done was tore my rotar cuff and pulled muscle away from the bone. I WILL NOT RECOMENED HIM TO NO ONE
Damaged nerve
The PA spent maybe a minute with me after I waited to see him. They told me I needed surgery and scheduled me. They said they would call the day of my visit to give me a time for the surgery. I waited 2 days for the call. Finally at 6:30 pm the night before the surgery they called and left a message that I would not have surgery the next day. His staff is rude and disrespectful. It’s obvious that they don’t have time to take care of their patients. I will be finding another orthopedic specialist
