Birthday Getaway The stay here was amazing. Room was clean and the arch and river view was a mood setter. Staff and housekeeping were friendly and helpful. Will be going back

the location for not having a car is fabulous next to the metrolink , however being in East St. Louis is not the safest place to be after dark. The close to St. louis downtown was nice but the rooms are a little dated and the door maintenance was lousy so all of the doors seem to slam shut and that gets a little old at 3 a.m. on weekends

The hotel is older so I wouldn't say I didn't like it, but we heard evey sound in the hallway. I'm a sound sleeper but my husband isn't. Also there is no microwave or fridge I the room, so that was a bit inconvenient.
