Be prepared for add-on fees and work that isn't guaranteed or warrantied. I called Economy plumbing to clear the main sewer line on my rental duplex. The plumber arrived at the appointed time, and proceeded to snake the line under the toilet. The snake he used had no cutting attachment, but ended in just a (perhaps) 1/2 inch diameter smooth nub, that would only be able to punch holes in the blockage at best. I had my sewer repaired today by a licensed plumber named Talmadge who works for Economy Plumbing. He gave the lowest quote, explained the work ahead of time and did exactly what he said he was going to do. The pipe was actually broken in two places. He fixed everything and left the site looking better than it did when he arrived.

Unfortunately my experience with Economy Plumbing was not a good one..a little background. They replaced a part that cost over 400 dollars last year on June 15th. On June 21st of this year that part broke and they wanted to charge me another 400 bucks to replace it. They did not want to honor the warranty, it was only 5 days after it expired. Wiith that said they did drop the price by 50%. They didn't want to do the right thing by the customer. There were 2 plumbers that came to the house. One of them was very argumentative... read more
