Ed helped us with our home loan, with every single thing we needed, he worked weekend answered our emails in the middle of the night, came up with solutions that enabled us to buy the home that we wanted, while guiding us throughout the process, and explained each step - all of which with the upmost professionalism and patience I have ever encountered. 5 stars are hardly enough.

Ed was very helpful in working with us as we bid on one house in the St. Louis area and he ended up continuing working with us when we relocated to a new area out of state. He and his colleagues were quick with responses, professional, and thorough with letting us know what documentation they would need and when they would need it.

Ed was instrumental in the purchase of our first home and I cannot recommend him highly enough. Purchasing a home is a huge investment and often stressful but Ed is experienced and a gifted communicator -- his ability to explain everything to us gave us tremendous peace of mind and there were no surprises along the way. Ed is great. He is professional, responsive and helpful. He made a difficult transaction easy. My wife and I live in Hong Kong and we were buying property in the US. Despite the 14 hour time difference, Ed and his colleague Amy were available at our convenience and always helpful with their comments and suggestions

Ed is fabulous! I cannot recommend him highly enough. He and his team helped me refinance my home. He (and everyone on the team) is highly responsive and returned calls in under 24 hours. The team was specific about information and documents needed and electronic transmittal was secure. We closed as scheduled, and Ed even arranged to have the closer come to my home due to a my tight schedule. All fees were the same or less than quoted.

If you are financing a house, I highly recommend going with Ed McPike and Wintrust Mortgage. When we were buying our second home, we went with Wintrust mortgage because they were recommended by a friend of my wife. I am so glad that we did.
