I had severe pain in my right heel. After X-rays, a discussion about why I was there and an examination Dr. Cohen's diagnosis was Plantar fasciitis. Dr. Cohen administered two shots to my right heel and asked me to return in two weeks. My two week follow-up visit was today and the pain I initially had has almost disappeared. Today I received another shot to the right heel and was asked to return in three weeks. Based on the relief after my first visit, I may not need additional treatment.

I was treated for a ulcerative callus on my toe. Infection got in the bone. Dr. Cohen did two surgeries and I took a lot of antibiotics. After over a year and half, it healed. I still have my toe! I am very satisfied with the treatment I received. I highly recommend Dr. Cohen.

Dingy, old, half renovated office. Extremely old tech. He wouldn’t address my issue besides saying “a lot of people have this, here’s a lidocaine shot”. Total disregard for the patient. Office staff on the phone was totally confused and misinformed. This was more chaotic and sad then government ran healthcare (VA).

I had a lot of for pain and went to dr Cohen. He helped me a lot by analyzing my problem, taking x-rays and then giving me all natural infections. I walked out of there feeling like a new man.

He was more concerned about selling me stuff and putting me on a pain shot regiment, than evaluating my feet. The forms I gave him to fill out, he just scribbled something across the whole form. VA will probably throw it out. I couldn’t read a word of it. May have been a waste of my vacation time.

My first and only appointment with Dr. Cohan. My feet have been really hurting with neuropathy type pain for several months so Tricare referred me to his office. First of all I’ve been in the medical field for years and do have quite a bit of medical knowledge especially enough to know when a doctor has no business practicing medicine. The tech was very helpful he xrayed both of my feet and performed a nerve conduction test. When the doctor came in I expected him to take a look at the X-rays and the conduction tests that wer... read more

There is no way I would recommend this Dr. to anyone. He does not explain a thing. Talked on his cellphone while he was giving me an injection in my foot, no explanation of what the medicine was or how it would help. Not very sterile either. He talks so low I had to ask twice and still no clear answer. Never makes eye contact!! Believe me he will try to talk you ( your insurance) into buying something before you leave. even if you know it will not help. No one wears a name tag in the office.

I am not from this area and had not heard all the horror stories about Dr. Cohen. I simply chose him out of convenience and the fact he has offices in 3 other cities. The first red flag should have been the fact that he does surgery in his office with no anesthesia (just shots), and that I would be awake for the procedure. He has no bedside manner, comes across as cold. Do your research before letting someone cut on you! I had surgery 5 months ago and have had nothing but problems ever since.
