My experience with Elephant Insurance has been a complete disaster. I filed two claims (front and rear bumper) with over $7,100 in estimated damage, and I still dont have clear answers or even basic follow-through from them.-Terrible communication: Ive been calling and emailing all week. I was in a terrifying accident last week and I call my insurance, Elephant, and to my surprise it took 45 minutes before I ever reached a human, then, well it didnt get any better by the time I got my claim number my family member reached me first, so I later call to get it repaired and they tell me my policy I have been paying as much as a car note, with a very clean driving record, my policy does not cover anything?? How is this A+ rated company? For a state minimum coverage, 1K D, no rental, no medical they quote +$600 monthly. *** no driver violation or accidents. They must be out of their mind!

Sleezy insurance if you arent their insured and they are at fault!
This is a fraudulent company. They auto debt customer accounts tacking on innumerable fees. I called twice to remove the auto debt and was told I cannot. Then another rep assured it was removed; however, they continued to auto debt my credit card. I tried to access the account and repeatedly received "the acct number isnt recgnized." I called a rep and was told it has been corrected. Lies!! I finally canceled my debt card wirh my bank to which I never had to do in more than 10 years. This company is FRAUD. First and foremost, I believe that Elephant insurance engaged in deceptive practices that misled me into agreeing to terms and conditions that were not adequately explained or disclosed.Furthermore, the conduct of Supervisor ******, [Representative ******], [****], and [**** ****] during my interactions with them was highly unprofessional and disrespectful. I was given a fee after canceling my services, because I did not want to leave my card on file. My bill was up-to-date and yet because I did not feel comfortable with my card being on their files after my service was ended ! I was told I get a fee because I dont want to leave my card on file so, in other words, in case of fee is incurred, which legally I should be allowed 30 days to pay.
