Take it from a nurse that has more than 20 yrs of healthcare experience. She came to the ER with a 1.5cm kidney stone, which even the nurses said this was one of the "largest stones" they had ever seen. After initially placing the stent, my mother sat in the hospital for 5 days and he never rounded on her once,in excruciating pain crying for 5 days. He lied to family saying he didn't know she was there even though drs told us they talked to him. He didn't want to treat just put n nursing home
This review reflects the difficulty of scheduling an appointment with Dr Enriquez. I have not benefited from a consultation with her, so this is in no way a reflection of her medical expertise. I would have been a new patient but I was scheduled in one month from the call, so I found another doctor. This is not professional. You should better say you take no new patients than schedule them in a month. It contradicts the purpose of professional care.
I did not really like Dr. Wu from the first time I met her. She claims to be Chinese, but I believe her to be Vietnamese. She does not speak clear English. And, she told me not to sleep too much even though I have MS. She wanted me to stop taking a certain medication that another doctor prescribed without consulting the other doctor. I did not like her "bedside manner". I changed doctors after the second visit. She really downplayed my illnesses.
At first, I thought Dr. Vidic was a good doctor. He prescribed Multiple Sclerosis medicine for me right away, however, down the line, I spoke with a representative from a company that helps patients with Multiple Sclerosis. She began asking me about the pre-testing that I received from Dr. Vidic before I was given medication. I found out that there is protocol (blood work, MRI's, etc.) that were supposed to be performed on an on-going basis--nothing was done, so I switched doctors.
I have been going to Dr. H. Rakhra, M.D. (Bob) for about two years and today I received a "certified letter" from him stating that he no longer will be my doctor. He said it was because I do not follow his treatment or advice. I have been thinking about this today and I realize this is probably a blessing. I have never, in any office visit with him, been given a physical exam. I went in about 3 months ago with feverish symptoms and flu like symptoms--i left with no treatment or medicine.
I would never recommend Dr. Press to anyone. Worst experience with a doctor I have ever had. She was condescending and uncaring. She did not have any insight into the issues I was having.
This doctor was the on call doctor, and he was more concerned about how late I called him (9:00 PM) than trying to help me. He said, "It's 9:30, you should have called in the morning." He would not help me. Instead he told me to call my doctor in the morning. He has no empathy or understanding what it's like to have an UTI.
