Went in for severe pain in my back. Dr.Madsen, reviewed x-rays and MRI and came in and explained what he saw and gave me recommendations in a way that was easy to comprehend. Will be having him do surgery. Can not express how comfortable he made me feel. Can’t put in words how great his bedside manner is. Highly recommend!

Dr Marks is a fantastic pain Dr. I've been seeing him around 6 years now and I sm travel from Wilmington to Chapel Hill to see him. I've had a few pain doctors in the past (CRPS for almost 18years), but Dr Marks is fantastic. He also deals with my severe insomnia and anxiety both, and keeps up with all of my general well-being and autoimmune issues. Very knowledgeable and empathetic as well. As a former nurse, it's great to find a doctor like him.
Seen promptly. Dr. Smith was knowledgeable of my situation and quickly diagnosed it. Recommended a course of action that now is in process.

She was prompt, knowledgeable about my condition . She listened to me and suggested treatment and was very good at the steroid injection I needed . I liked her very much and was confident I was in good hands. I also recommended my family member see her and was able to make an appointment that day for him. Thanks Dr. Soria!
