I was able to quickly get an appointment at Chapel Hill EmergeOrtho. Dr Crawford was attentive and thorough - from the initial exam and throughout testing, surgery and PT, he took the time needed to answer my questions and explain procedures. He defined accurate expected outcomes and timelines for rehab. I trust him and wouldn’t hesitate to see him again. Recommend.
I followed Dr. Marks when he left Duke as I am so thankful to have found him. Listening to a patient should be expected, but unfortunately not every doctor does this. Thankfully, Dr Marks does. If you should decide to visit him I truly believe you will be glad you did. My experience is all I have to go on, so there may be people who don't agree, though I can't imagine why. Dr. Ronnie was very personable and put me at ease immediately. Talked throughout the procedure to let me know what was going on and what to expect. Procedure was very quick.
I've had 2 occasions to be in Dr Kuremsky's care. The first instance was due to deep infection from a dog bite, that flared up several weeks after I finished the antibiotics prescribed elsewhere. If I hadn't had surgery, I could have lost my hand. Dr K did his extensive surgical magic, and 5 years later, I have full hand function and nearly invisible scarring. Dr. Smith is the absolute BEST. Terrified of what my son needed and how on earth we would get there, and not to mention recover from it ALL. Dr. Smith answered every question and made my son's ACL and meniscus repair surgery smooth sailing! He went above & beyond and really made us feel like he cared about our son's quality of life just as much as we do! Shout out to the G.O.A.T - Dr. B. T. Smith - you're forever on our Christmas list!!!

I “inherited “ Dr. Rutherford when Dr. Liebelt retired. Dr. Rutherford takes his time answering my questions to my satisfaction. He is caring and explains options. I’m awaiting knee replacement and fully trust my doctor to do my surgery!
Dr. Hallows is an excellent surgeon. Within five months of each other, I had two hip replacements and the recovery was a breeze. It's not only the procedure but it's because of him being such a good surgeon. I would highly recommend Dr. Hallows and I have to many people who live here in Fearrington Village, Pittsboro.
