Dr. Viens is an amazing surgeon! He reconstructed the lateral ligaments on both of my ankles and cleaned up scar tissue. He also gave realistic expectations for recovery which I was able to exceed beyond what I thought was reasonable in the time frame. My only advice for future patients is to come ready with questions. Dr. Viens has a lot of patients so he sometimes wants to get out of the room quickly. I think this is an issue with the office over scheduling though.
From the first appointment, Dr. Gilbert exhibited all the traits that I was looking for in a surgeon. He is compassionate, takes time to explain and answer questions, sets up other medical appointments to make sure that the surgery would be a safe option for me. He called the night before to reassure me. My hip was a mess and the surgery, due to his expertise, went really well. My recovery was well supported by Dr. Gilbert and his PT staff. I am so grateful to have my life back!

Dr. Gilbert replaced both of my knees this year and I highly recommend him and his entire staff! Not only is he an excellent surgeon but he is very kind and caring. He takes his time with you during your appointments to make sure he’s answered all of your questions and concerns. It was also very comforting when he called the night before the surgery to check on me and see if he could answer any questions I might have.

Dr. Gilbert replaced both hips for my wife. She couldn't walk without the aid of a walker when she first went to see him, and was experiencing lots of pain. Now, after two surgeries to replace her hip joints, she is walking as well as ever with no pain. He is very friendly, cares about his patients, and does excellent work. We highly recommend him and EmergOrtho to anyone searching for an excellent doctor, and all employees as well, to greatly improve their quality of life.

I am now a very happy man thanks to Dr. Gilbert. He surgically replaced both of my extremely arthritic and painful hips and now I am literally jumping with joy! Both surgeries went without any complications and I was back home the next day on both occasions. Thanks Dr. Gilbert!

I am 71 years old and for the first time in years, I can move without pain. Not only would I recommend Dr. Musante, I have recommended him to many friends and family. He and his staff are exceptional. The experience was incredible. I had lumbar fusion and I was back to work in five weeks, pain-free!
Best doctor ever I will highly highly recommended him brought my daughter here today first visit but felt like we had known him forever he was really awesome wish we had a orthopedic in Goldsboro like him the ride to Raleigh was worth it
