Knowledgeable, professional, supportive and talented. At 62, I went in with back and leg pain that were limiting and getting worse. The first important thing we did was get a good diagnosis as a basis for all subsequent decision-making. I ended up with surgery to fuse L4-L5 and do a laminectomy at the same time. Improvement was immediate, recovery wasn't as bad as I thought it would be, and now I am active and pain free. Mustante and his practice were super. Don't put it off!
Dr Madsen performed a C5/C6 disc replacement on my neck 2 1/2 years ago. I was in horrible pain prior to the surgery. Every other Dr wanted to do a fusion because they were not familiar with a disc replacement. Given my age at the time, 41, and the otherwise good condition of my spine he felt that I was a good candidate for a disc replacement. The nerve pressure was immediately relieved after surgery. I have been able to live my life pain-free. He is extremely respectful, and a good communicator

I would recommend Dr. Takenaga for surgery on the knee (meniscus tear) I found his bedside manner to be both professional and thorough. After an MRI my surgery was scheduled quickly and follow-up was very helpful! The entire staff at Triangle Orthopaedic was great!
