RecommendedI saw Dr. Mali yesterday for a shoulder injection. (I have had a few at another major hospital). What stood out to me is that, rather than sitting up and having a quick wiping off of the area, I was lying down and the area was really thoroughly cleaned/wiped, then draped before the procedure (injection) began. Dr. Mali explained the purpose for the injection of Lidocaine, then explained the next step of the other preparation he was using.
