Dr. Takenaga is wonderful to work with. He's very knowledgeable, very personable, and made me feel calm and comfortable about my visit, the procedure and the followup care. Read his bio. His education and life experience go far beyond books and classes. In my visits, we talked about my care options and he addressed my concerns and the research I had done. We agreed on the approach he recommended and the care he administered immediately reduced my pain. The follow-on PT continued my improvement.
Excellent doctor, he explained everything and I felt I was getting the latest up-to-date procedure.
The services I received from Dr. Ryan Takenaga were exceptional from my first visit to my last visit. He's caring, personable, knowledgeable, and very professional. I'm sharing my positive experiences with all my friends. His team of nurses, doctors, physical therapists, and much more are equally amazing.
The best and very caring
My whole experience in having foot surgery went very smoothly. Dr. Takenaga explained my options at the first appointment, and the decision to have surgery was made that day. Surgery was a week later; and, again, Dr. Takenaga explained the procedure. Surgery went smoothly, as did my recovery. I had two post-op visits in which Dr. Takenaga examined my foot and answered any questions I had. Great bedside manner!

The professionalism of all the staff, including P.T was of the highest quality. Dr. Takenaga was such a personal, caring, and informative physician that I have ever encountered. They were the Best!
Dr. Takenaga is a absolutely the best orthopedic surgeon I have ever dealt with. He always comes with a smile, very knowledgeable and though I came to see him for my Rotar Cuff injury and I was told I needed surgery on both shoulders. Dr. Takenaga decided to try a steroid injection and to my pleasure it has helped relieve some of the pain (anything is better than nothing) Thank you Dr. Takenaga, I truly appreciate you!
