Get directionsThis has been my 3rd time at this facility, the therapy staff and nursing & woundcare staff are great . The food however needs revamping and bit more selection and healthier. Few more things or activity on down time after therapy would help social therapy.
Everyone has treated both of us wonderfully. Don is spoiled!
An 82 year old male went in for rehab due to frequent falling. When he was admitted, he could walk with a walker, stand from a seated position. After several days, the facility grew tired of his anxiety disorder and chemically sedated him. After 10 days, he was released. He could not stand alone nor rise from a seated position..in fact, he was a 2 man lift with a gate belt. They insisted that he be released to go home or to Assisted living, neither was a good fit. He is now in a skilled Nursing center and is starting over ... read more

I had a family member stay their for 11 days ,and watch her go from a happy person ,to a terrified person ,she is not eating ,sleepingshe is terrified to be alone! nurses lack bedside manners! they definately are there to do one thing earn their paycheck! my family member witnessed their rudeness towards them as well! Nancy from encompass ,sure did sugar coat everything about the facility ,but she forgot to mention ,that once you leave them there ,they are on their own to fend for themselves. She said she would be their on Tu... read more
My mom was sent to Encompass for rehab after a stroke. I had heard from my sister the day before how dirty the room was so the next day I went for a visit. Not only was there dirty linens all over the bathroom floor but there was dry pee stains on the sheet on the bed. When I told the nurse that mom had wet the bed, she said oh that was from earlier and she threw one of the bed liners over it. Mom wanted to sit in the wheelchair for a while as her back was hurting and the tech said okay I will get you in the chair but you ar... read more

My mother was admitted to this facility on Dec 12, 2019, around 1 AM, around 7-8 AM she accidentally hit her right ear with her hand and knocked her hearing aid out of her ear it went flying, she immediately notified the staff that she just lost her hearing aid, their way of searching for it consisted of moving a chair and and a bedside table and looking behind them and bending down and looking under the bed and replying sorry we don’t see it, never did a through cleaning if the room, she said her Dr. told her it was his un... read more
My Dad spent two weeks here before we removed him! He had a major surgery and needed help recovering. I went to see him daily and not once got to speak to a Dr. about him, they lost all his clothes and sent him home in paper pants! Had we known ALL his pants were lost we would have brought him some to wear home. Each day we would ask the nurse to update us and she would have NO idea what was going on with my dad.
