I was a patient there almost 3 weeks ago, having been transferred from Penrose hospital for severe septic shock and a blocked lung passage from a gallbladder attack. The PT/OT worked with me and got my strength back enough for me to be able to sign out 4 days early to be by my mom's bedside just in time to say goodbye that night. My wife getting me into Encompass for inpatient treatment after back surgery was key to a fast recovery. The entire staff was fantastic and that therarapy team all worked hard with me three hours per day getting me up on my feet again to walk out in only ten days. Thank you all for your incredible dedication to getting me home and capable of caring for myself.

Loving staff... they gave me hope that I can learn new way to take care of my self... they made it fun for me to learn how to walk again!!! I ate alot!!! food was good and I got to eat what I liked!! my work out team, the best ever Courtney, Kelly ,Megan, Anna .. that's chicas!!! gonna miss you all!!!!

The staff was amazing! I was in a lot of pain when I first was transferred to Encompass from Memorial! Didn't think I could do the therapy but I did because both OT & PT Made it less painful & the positivity was so helpful! I'm usually a happy, up beat, positive, person & was broken physically & mentally but everyone here has been wonderful & they all need a raise. Take care to the patients & employees & thank you for everything!

Our family has been through the most difficult time any one could imagine when my brother, a father of 5 and devoted husband and phenomenal athlete, was hit while riding his bicycle in Pueblo West by a distracted driver, going 60mph. I have been a patient of Encompass Health Colorado Springs. They helped me much in my recovery period when I suffered stroke. Maggie and Emily in PT are incredible motivators. Maggie challenged me. She set the goal and I completed it. She did not ask me what I wanted to do or if I felt like doing it. She was stern, supportive, caring, and compassionate while maintaining her professional standards. Dr. Padit is a gem. He is passionate and always has a smile. I will miss his wonderful and caring spirit.
