Very emotional day for us today: my Ray had his final session of outpatient Physical Therapy today, and has been discharged on his own recognizance!! A year ago, after surgery for a septic infection in his leg, just standing up for a moment or two was an amazing feat! Once he could do car transfers he started outpatient therapy at HealthSouth. All these excellent reviews surprise me! Place must have changed drastically in a short amount of time. My stepfather was making huge steps in his recovery at the hospital after a tbi from a fall. Especially with his speech and writing. Now that he has been at Encompass in Ludlow he unfortunately is doing worse. Does these people even read their patients files, especially when patients have more than one medical condition? Some of these nurses should have picked a different career.
