I had been to other doctors that could not resolve my medical issues, Dr. Markovitz was able to diagnose my problem on the first visit. He takes time to discuss everything and I did not feel rushed or uncomfortable. Highly competent and caring doctor, his office staff is great too made me feel very comfortable. True professionals.
Dr. Markovitz is truly one of the most caring doctors out there. He is very considerate, intelligent, and extremely helpful. I would highly recommend him to anyone looking for an OB/GYN. He takes his time, always follows up, and is very comprehensive. I've had some medical issues and switched to this practice and have been so happy with my switch. The office staff is also all so great, from the receptionists to the medical assistants and phlebotomists. Highly highly recommend!
I have been seeing Dr Markovitz for over a year, and he is rushed and doesn't answer your questions. He will give some generic response without really asking more details and figuring out what is happening. I called the office when I was 9 weeks pregnant because I had some bleeding (not heavy, but enough to get me worried) instead of asking for more info, he said oh that is normal during pregnancy. When i asked if i can be seen, he made it seem like i was being dramatic, but told me to come in tomorrow if i was still bleedin... read more
This “doctor”, is incompetent and negligent. I asked to have an ovarian ultrasound due to past ovarian cysts and she said ‘let’s not look for something we don’t want to find,’ I thought being proactive was the goal. Oh and if you’re plus sized please avoid this lady as she will shame you. She also has a tendency of making rude facial expressions when she doesn’t agree with something you say. Lastly let’s not forget the disturbing letter I received from that practice, who didn’t even have the decency of removing the “patient ... read more
In case you don't want to read my book report, to sum it up - Dr. Martinucci has horrible, nasty bedside manner, questionable motives, and is downright cruel.I had the misfortune of having Dr. Martinucci be the doctor on call when my water broke 10 months ago.I saw her a few days before my due date, and she had long, pointy, Kardashian style nails which is NOT ok in her profession. My doula is convinced her nails broke my water early. The other women in labor the same time as me also saw Dr. Martinucci the day prior, so ther... read more
Waited for the ‘interview’ for almost a month to get into practice because this one is affiliated with Englewood hospital. Came and listened to blabbering monologue about all the ‘horrors and complications that might happen’, zilch compassion, zero manners, uptight attitude, not once an eye contact. My husband was furious. Left for good and decided we’ll find another way. After a month got a bill for this pathetic waste of our time.
Terrible experience. He made me do a C-Section but wrote in the chart "the patient has requested it", claiming that I asked him for it. I did not need it and now I suffer consequences of the unnesseary procedure. Very untruthful and evasive in his responses.
I wish I could give 0 stars, because 1 is too high. Horrible, horrible, horrible bedside manner. Extremely condescending. Rude. Her pride in herself and her accomplishments as a doctor are the only things that matter to her. She probably would be better suited working in an environment that does not require empathy & compassion. If you don’t do exactly what she suggests, she goes into “degrading mode.” Thankfully another doctor was on call when my baby was born.
I not only received poor service from Dr. Martinucci, but that she did not run the appropriate tests that I needed. I came in distress because my water had broken, but Dr. Martinucci ignored me. She only performed an ultrasound, looked at my cervix, and declared I had just wet myself and nothing was wrong. 2 days later, during an anatomy scan, the staff determined that my water had, in fact, broken prematurely, which led me to give birth to my son stillborn. If she had properly administered the tests and consultation she sho... read more
