My first visit since moving to Iowa. I have had great care in the past and was nervous about finding a new provider. My experience was exceptional. Dr. Thompson was very professional and thorough. She answered my questions and was concerned about my care. I am happy to find such a skilled practitioner.
The group of people were very efficient. I should have asked more questions. Definitely, I felt like they experienced with their procedures. I was pleased they were able to do biopsies/excisions on my first visit. I forgot to ask when and how I would be notified of the results. I also forgot to ask if I needed to do anything to my biopsy sites and what I could expect during the healing process. The only problem I had was that I arrived 10 minutes early for my 1:00 appointment and the doors were locked. No one unlocked the door and I wondered if anyone was inside the office. I went back to my car for 5 minutes and tried again. The door opened this time and there was a full staff sitting behind the counter. 🤯 Anyway, Dr. Tom Boysen is great and I’ll miss him now that he’s retiring.

I brought my 8 year old grandson to his appointment. The doctor spoke directly to him with her questions. She explained everything throughly. She allowed him to ask his concerns and questions. ❤️ He left confident in how to treat his condition.
