Dr. Person is such a caring doctor and so easy to talk to. I relocated to Georgia and had to get all new physicians--not an easy task. I feel very fortunate to have found him. He's very concerned about making the right decisions for your health/situation. I had a major surgery in 2013 and he's the first doctor to thoroughly explain what is occurring now because of it. I trust him and definitely would highly recommend him!
I was pleased with Dr. Person’s knowledge, kindness and thoroughness when he performed a routine colonoscopy last year. In 2019, after suffering from severe heartburn for at least 40 years, taking Zantac twice a day for at least 10 years, I decided to request an endoscopy. It showed a hiatal hernia, several small ulcers and Dr. Person initially was concerned I might have Barrett’s esophagus (biopsy was negative). Dr.Person performed my EGD and colonoscopy. He explained the procedures, before and after. He was very thorough and answered all my questions. He was very caring and considerate. Additional tests have been scheduled. Nancy
I can tell Dr. Person really cares about his patients. He saw me last minute before a big trip and helped me with a plan to treat my symptoms while I was away. Complex ideas are explained in easy to understand terms which isn't always the case with physicians.
I found the visit very imformative. I liked not having to wait long, I also found Dr. Person to be professional and personable (no pun intended-ok, maybe a little). I felt at ease through the whole visit.
My experience was very good. I will definitely refer Dr Person to anyone I know looking for a gastroenterologist.

it was very thorough--have to have endo and coloscopy on March 28....had problem getting prep---insurance did not cover suprep had to get gallon--which is so hard for me to take....
I had an appointment with Dr. Person last week and I was looking for a way to let him know how much I appreciated him taking time to listen to me, look me in the eye when giving me preventive measures and next steps. I left with the feeling of being valued. Wow!! Dr. Person is smart and knows how to interact with his patients. Thank you Dr. Person for helping me feel better.
