RecommendedThe vans are nicely equipped and comfortable. We loved the kitchen setup with the solar fridge and sink. It was so convenient. We easily made filet mignon with gnocci and veggies, grilled pork chops, and most anything we wanted. We were on a road trip and didn't stay in any one place for more than a night. We pulled over at many scenic areas and enjoyed the view sitting at the table with the doors open. We picked up Can Love from Escape in San Francisco ( Hayward). The gentleman that checked us in had excellent customer service skills and explained everything very well. We travelled in the van for ten days and stayed in various campgrounds along the Pacific Coast from San Francisco to San Diego. The bed was surprisingly comfortable, we used foam pads initially and found they were not needed. The solar fridge kept everything very cold and the stove worked well. Highly recommended :) 21 day road trip from San Francisco and back via the usual National Park stops in Arizona & Nevada. Maverick van hired (2 travellers), I guess one of their older ones about 200K on the clock, loved our Jungle book design and that we had no advert on our van either ;) One of the best holidays we've ever had!!! Just came home from a great trip from SFO area : Mammoth Lakes, Yosemite and Sonoma. This was our second time renting since we really enjoyed the van way more than tenting. One bit of criticism; the Mavericks are showing their age, rattle around quite a bit on the road and are a challenging driving experience especially on mountain roads. Our van had 287k miles on it. Would suggest updating the fleet.
Véhicule bien pensé et très bien aménagé. Seule point négatif concerne l’aspect mécanique du véhicule qui n’était pas à point du tout. Devrait y avoir une inspection rigoureuse de chaque véhicule avant de les mettre sur la route.
