We had a great time with our "Rainbow" van driving from PHX and Sedona to the Grand Canyon and Monument Valley and a few great free bush camping spots between. It was comfortable and cosy in the cold (we did bring some extra bedding) and great to be able to just pull up, cook and sleep without any fuss or set up. Vanessa in Phoenix was super friendly and helpful. Look forward to next time with Escape!
I rented the campervan in Phoenix and returned it in Las Vegas office. I comes equipped with bedding, cookware and propane stove. The initial check in took a little while as we were shown how to work things. Had an amazing time and definitely use them again for my next trip
We had a great experience renting from the Phoenix office. It was pouring down rain when we arrived, but were in & out and on our way. The Muir van is older and has some miles, but it was awesome. It was easy to use and bed setup/breakdown was quick. The PHX staff were very friendly and knowledgeable. Return was quick and easy. We left all our leftover (useable) supplies with them to pass along to the next guests. We’ll be back for another round!
I love Escape Campervan, and I'd recommend them without hesitation, but one day I nearly lost my cool. I gotta admit, I was pretty hot that Friday when we picked up our van in Phoenix, and it wasn't the 109 degree temperature. The air conditioner let out it's dying breath, and there wasn't another van to be had. It looked like our dream vacation was on hold till Monday, maybe Tuesday. Good people to work with. Reliable and comfortable camper van (with the exception of two out of three USP’s not working). Four weeks in it and covered eight National Parks. Loved seeing many other escapes on the road. Couldn’t have been a better trip. Will do it again!
I highly recommend Escape Campervans in Phoenix, AZ. Both of the team members I worked with were kind and accommodating. Our van (Swamp Thing) was clean, well appointed, comfortable, and reliable.
