The owners of Escapology recently decided to change the age limit on rooms such as Star Trek: Quantum Filament. My son was blown away by his Christmas gift of 2 tickets. He's 10 years old so he thought he had 2 more years to wait. The gift brought him to tears. Turns out it is our favorite room yet! I want to personally thank the owners for helping my son's dream come true.

Our family mostly adults and very little kids right now and we wanted to try something different from gift exchanges for Christmas this year. My brother and his wife had a great experience at this particular location, so we looked into booking a room. It was easy to look up rooms and times online. Was looking for something fun to do with some friends and chose this place. It was definitely super fun and worth it, but I recommend not doing the murder mystery on your first go there we unfortunately did not solve the crime on time but they gave me a discount card for our next time. I thought that was pretty cool! I'll definitely come back...and try a simpler one PS their bathroom sign made me laugh lol

They are very organized and well run. The rooms are challenging and it seemed like they have a lot of repeat business here. We did the Lab ray room for a group of 12 people (10 - 14 yr old girls and 2- coaches). The girls had so much fun.

First escape room since COVID, and this was a top notch experience. Great explanation of the game, great use of strategic hints to ensure we stayed on track, and fantastic decor and theming, both of the room and the whole place. We had a great time and the staff was genuinely excited for us when we completed the room in a relatively short amount of time. Definitely going back soon.

We did lost city. We had a lot of fun. It was quit challenging and there were many things in the room that were not explained very well in the first place. The key pad it would helped a lot if there were signs in the room Or being told in the beginning that the pound sign was something that needed to be pushed. On one of the locks it wasn't explained at all how to use it. The fact that clues were given on a tv screen and you could not talk to the actual employee was extremely frustrated. Just as an FYI, all Escapology new games have clues displayed on a screen, the Game Masters do not talk to players unless absolutely necessary. Apologies regarding the lock, that should have been explained, however the keypads requiring a # after the input is labelled in the room.
First time doing an escape room, and my friends and I had a blast! This place didn't disappoint, I'll definitely be coming back again with family and friends. Our game host was friendly, and explained everything we needed to know. Highly recommend this place if you are looking for a fun challenge to do.

This is, by far, one of the best escape room facilities in the Austin area. I've tried five of their rooms and will be back as soon as they complete a new one. At the time of this review, two more are being developed and I'm really excited about the Star Trek room! The rooms have had great tech and the difficulty levels listed were about right.
